![]() ![]() I use my iPad in a dark room quite often, putting my kids to bed. The backlit keyboard is self explanatory. Reason 2: It’s a really nice backlit keyboard! The variability of the kickstand on the Folio Touch does make a difference. This is something that I can’t do with Apple’s Smart Keyboard Folio. This means that I can use it whenever the keyboard is folded out for use. The keyboard does not need to be not magnetically attached to the iPad Pro for it to be activated. Maximum angle of the Folio Touch’s kickstand The Folio Touch also allows you to use the same kickstand angle with the keyboard laid out for use. This is one area that I will observe longer to see how sturdy it remains after months of folding and unfolding. So far, it has not been a problem for me yet. However, it doesn’t hold its kickstand angle completely, so if you press down hard, it does sink a little. The kickstand holds up the keyboard strong enough that it does not sink down significantly when you draw with your pencil. The photo below shows you how the kickstand of the Logitech Folio Touch lets you prop up the iPad Pro when you fold away the keyboard. I have not had anything but a good experience with it and many other Logitech products over the last many years.Apple Smart Keyboard Folio Reason 1: Logitech Folio Touch lets me to draw better I would not hesitate recommending the LCT to anyone looking for a great keyboard case for their iPad. And probably my favorite, the really convenient full row of iPadOS shortcut keys. The material the MKB is made of smudges and marks up easily. The larger, multi touch click anywhere track pad.Being able to remove the backlit keyboard and still have iPad protected in a case with an adjustable kickstand.Things I would miss if I had to give up the LCT. IMO, the LCT is a better product for less $$ than the MKB. Don't get me wrong, I love Apple and the hardware products they make but you can find just as good if not better accessories for less elsewhere. In this case, you definitely get less and pay more. For the higher price, you would expect a superior product and user experience. I cannot understand why Apple would put such a small trackpad on the MKB, and no shortcut keys either. I have not experienced any hiccups with the trackpad or keyboard. It is smooth, and clicks anywhere on the trackpad. The typing experience is A#1, and the bigger multitouch trackpad has all the gestures we Apple folk are used too. It easily detaches from the keyboard while still giving it protection and a fully adjustable kickstand. Like the Magic Keyboard, the LCT has the smart connector so you do not have to worry about charging it, or having to depend on a Bluetooth connection. ![]() Has fully protected my iPad Pro from two drops now without a mark or malfunction on the LCT. I have had my Logi Combo Touch for my M1 iPad Pro 11 for 10 months now and still love it. It's so hard to find a case that has extra ports, good protection, not use the kickstand instead maybe a hinge or smth like the magic keyboard and not get super dirty and something that doesn't take a lot of space and doesn't self distruct in like a month.Īlthough I would really appreciate if you guys can share your experiences with these cases and about its durability and stuff. But it has a really shitty keyboard (at least its spill proof ig) I also like the Folio keyboard cause I can switch it to different angles without taking up space and has a smaller footprint. The kickstand on the Logitech seems to just look like a piece of frabric so it might get loose and snap off over time and the whole things gonna get super dirty. I had some problems with the kickstand on my surface pro already mainly using it on the lap and it taking up a lot of space. The Logitech combo does have full protection but they don't have an extra port and I'm also worryed about the kickstand. Yes I know they have the addons but they seem really thin and prob will just disintegrate within a month. I really like the magic keyboards extra USB-C port and not taking too much space but they have no protection for the sides at all. I was thinking about buying ethier the combo, the magic keyboard or the folio keyboard ![]()
